Agriculture Biology is a one year, laboratory science course, designated for the college bound student with career interests in Agriculture. Using Agriculture as a learning vehicle, the course emphasizes the principles, central concepts and inter-relationships among the following topics: the molecular and cellular aspects of life, the chemical and structural basis of life, growth and reproduction in plants and animals, genetics, ecological relationships among plants, animals, humans and the enviroment, nutrition in animals, health and diseases in animals and the similarities between animals and humans.

Agriculture Soil Chemistry is a one year course designed to introduce students to the major areas of scientific study. The course meets the one-year requirement stated in the state high school graduation requirements in science. This course is aligned with the California Science Standards and Agriculture Education Standards. Science concepts based on laboratory work will be completed in this course. This course will include a variety of science related topics including: chemistry, atoms, chemical reactions, waves, electricity and many more while all infused with Agriculture and the Agriculture Industry. There will be times during the course that will require outside activites/labaoratories.
