Sunny Hills Team wins
STATE CHAMPIONS TITLE
Team members Lydia Silva, Lalani Pacheco, Yemira Torres Garcia, and Elizabeth Belloso competed in the Fruit Tree Judging CDE competitions and were announced as the State Champions in both respective contests.
National Proficiency Finalist
Congratulations to Paloma Wizikowski for being named a National Finalist in the area of Agriculture Education. Paloma works in the curriculum development department at the Aquarium of the Pacific. She helps guide tours, writes curriculum, and leads the Teen Climate Council where she works with researchers on how to better educate the public on climate and the effects on Agriculture.

3 Sunny Hills Students Earn American Degree!
Congratulations to Sunny Hills FFA Alumni for earning the highest achievable degree from the National FFA! As the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization, the American FFA Degree shows an FFA member’s dedication to his or her chapter and state FFA association. It demonstrates the effort FFA members apply toward their supervised agricultural experience and the outstanding leadership abilities and community involvement they exhibited through their FFA careers. American FFA Degree recipients show promise for the future and have gone above and beyond to achieve excellence.
